Most Memorable CCAC Experience
Every time students get their first job offer, it is always memorable. They are so excited, and I am just delighted to be part of their accomplishment and happiness.
Why I Teach What I Teach
Twenty years ago, I went to school for medical assisting because I wanted to help people. I quickly worked to train staff and took management positions within the medical practice. I enjoyed teaching others so much that I decided to go back to school for teaching. When an opportunity became available to teach medical assisting, I took it. I love sharing my knowledge and skills in health care with others and helping them understand the "why" behind the policies and procedures that are in place to help safeguard our patients.
Something People Might Not Know About Me
I live in the country and commute to CCAC from Indiana County.

"Consult not your fears, but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you have tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do. Now is the time to put aside past and present setbacks and failures and look with confidence to a new day called tomorrow." —Pope John XXIII
