Industrial Technology, Trades & Transportation

Demand and wages are skyrocketing for skilled professionals who can run and maintain complex machines, robots and computer systems. CCAC's Skilled Trades programs encompass a wide range of these strong wage-earning professions. The nearly 30 certificate and degree offerings in the skilled trades and energy technologies—which include several apprenticeship programs—prepare college students for rewarding careers in these highly-skilled sectors.

After graduation, many CCAC students later decide that further education would help advance their career—and return to CCAC to update their skills and gain further knowledge. This educational need may also be satisfied by pursuing a bachelor's degree at a local college or university.

Many of CCAC's career programs are guided by Advisory Committees. Practitioners in your field meet with faculty to determine the best instruction to serve your needs. These Advisory Committees and the ongoing evaluation of the college's programs ensure that the program you have chosen is relevant to the workplace.
