These versatile programs offer students an opportunity to learn and develop skills in facility maintenance. Students in the certificate program are well prepared for entry-level positions. Students enrolled in the associate degree program receive a balance of academic and technical education intended to support career advancement. Facilities Maintenance Technology, A.S. (384.3)
Degreed graduates may be employed as facility and building maintenance technicians and foremen, supervisors, field service technicians, stationary engineers, plant mechanical maintenance technicians and managers or directors, depending on experience level.
Facilities Maintenance Technology, Certificate (383.3)
Graduates of the certificate program may find employment as entry-level facility maintenance technicians.
