WPXI-TV News featured CCAC's Guns Down, Level Up program during the station's 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. broadcasts on Jan. 20. The story, filmed at CCAC's Homewood-Brushton Center, featured the success of the program, aimed at helping people who have first-hand gun violence experience get the education and job training they need to succeed. Dr. Angelica Perez-Johnston, CCAC's chief diversity and inclusion director, and Guns Down, Level Up program success coaches, Michael Talley and Amber Sloane, were featured in the in-depth interview, along with a current participant.
