CCAC Celebrates the Class of 2024 Commencement at Acrisure Stadium
CCAC conferred academic credentials on the nearly 350 graduates attending its 57th annual Commencement exercises at Acrisure Stadium on May 16. Family members, friends, faculty and staff were in the stands to support and recognize the participating graduates. The Nursing Pinning ceremony, during which 217 students will receive their Nursing pins, preceded Commencement. The Pinning included the Florence Nightingale pledge and the “Passing of the Lamp.”
The college offers more than 130 programs of study, leading to Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees; certificates; and diplomas. A total of 2,301 CCAC students were candidates for Class of 2024 graduation.
The Commencement address was delivered by Nick Deluliis, Chief Executive Officer, CNX Resources. Other individuals with roles in the program, listed in order of their appearance, included Dr. Stephen Wells, CCAC Interim Chief Academic Officer; Dr. Norman Johnson, Grand Marshal and CCAC Professor & Program Coordinator, Physical Therapist Assistant Program; Andy Lewis, Vocalist, Class of 2024; Dr. Quintin Bullock, CCAC President; Kevin P. Kinross, CCAC Board of Trustees Chair; Justin Bushmire, Student Trustee, Class of 2024; Mary Beth Johnson, CCAC Department Head, Business & Technologies, and Co-Department Head, Engineering, and Professor & Program Coordinator, Court Reporting; Kenneth Bush, CCAC Bursar; Dr. Mary Lou Kennedy, CCAC Associate Vice President, Enrollment Services; and Roseann Ferrara-Love, Member, CCAC Educational Foundation Board of Directors & CCAC Alumna.
