Exploration Day for Pittsburgh Technical College & Triangle Tech Students at CCAC on July 9
PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will host a “CCAC Exploration Day” for Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) and Triangle Tech students on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at CCAC West Hills Center (1000 McKee Rd, Oakdale, PA 15071) from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with college administrators, faculty, advisors and staff to discuss teach-out plans for 19 programs (see below). Dedicated academic advisors will be available to assist in application, enrollment, credit transfer and planning.
CCAC announced its plan last month to assist students from Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) and Triangle Tech. Dedicated webpages are available on the college website. CCAC offerings that are part of the PTC Teach-Out plan include programs in the areas of Business Management, Criminal Justice & Criminology, Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity and IT Support Specialist, Facilities Maintenance Technology, Film Technology, Graphic Communications, Heating & Air Conditioning Technology, Mechatronics Technology, Medical Insurance Specialist, Nursing, Software Development, and Welding.
Triangle Tech and PTC students who are not part of specific teach-out programs are encouraged to attend the CCAC Exploration Day event to discover all that CCAC has to offer.
