About Casino Dealer Training School

Casino dealers interact directly with customers to create a fun and exciting gaming experience. Dealing can be a lucrative and rewarding career for those who enjoy working with people.

CCAC has partnered with Rivers Casino to provide casino training in a variety of table games. Since launching in February 2016, CCAC's Casino Dealer program has been training casino employees and those seeking employment in the casino industry.

The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and is recognized by all casinos in the state, as well as some out-of-state casinos. Students in the entry-level course receive 120 hours of paid training in blackjack and banked games, including several poker derivative games.

Program Outcomes

Individuals who successfully complete the program are eligible to work as a casino dealer. In addition, students are auditioned as part of the curriculum, which boosts their chances of securing a position.

Rivers Casino interviews and selects students for this program. Approved participants will have their tuition paid in full to attend the training. Students who successfully complete the program and pass the game audition process will be offered a full-time or part-time Table Games Dealer position with Rivers Casino.

In order to enroll in the Casino Dealer program through Rivers Casino, students must meet these requirements: 

  • Online application
  • Personable and positive attitude
  • Scheduling flexibility
  • Interested candidates must be able to work days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
     

In order to qualify for employment at Rivers Casino, candidates must meet these additional requirements: 

  • Drug testing
  • Criminal background
  • Check credit check (applicable positions)
  • PA Gaming License approval (applicable positions)
