About AWS Academy
The Community College of Allegheny County has joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy to offer authorized AWS curriculum, including AWS Academy Cloud Architecting and AWS Academy Cloud Foundations, to students starting in 2018.
AWS Academy classes through CCAC are now online! They will be conducted synchronously, which combines the convenience of an online course with the structure of an expert instructor in the classroom.
AWS Academy Cloud Foundations
This 21-hour course is intended for those who seek an overall understanding of cloud computing. It provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS Academy core services, security, architecture, pricing and support. In only seven sessions, students will have a full understanding of the world of cloud computing, as well as experience in everything from reviewing pricing characteristics to monitoring AWS resources and applications in real time.

AWS Academy Cloud Architecting
This curriculum will help individuals develop technical expertise in cloud computing
and prepare them for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate certification
exam. The 42-hour course engages students through instructor-led classes, hands-on
labs and project work. Students have access to course manuals, online knowledge assessments
and a free practice certification exam with a discount voucher.

Refund Policy
Students who wish to withdraw from a class must do so by the end of the last business day before the class starts. No refund of tuition, noncredit registration fees or materials fees shall be granted unless such materials are returned unused.
